How to file taxes when trading commodities?

For three months in '09, I traded commodities and had a year-end loss of $900. I know I use form 6781 and schedule D, but I'm not sure how to fill them out. Now that the price of oil is down to $47.00 per barrel and the price of gasoline where I live is down to $1.60/gallon, I don't see much of anything follow suit.
